Kaleidoscope Hearts by Claire Contreras
Kaleidoscope Hearts is the story of a woman who is trying to recover from a loss, and the man who once owned her heart, and never let go of it. This is the first book I’ve read by Claire Contreras, and I must say, I’m impressed.
One thing I really like about this story is the fact that it does not
feature love at first sight. Don’t get me wrong, love at first sight
is great to read about, just not always. The fact that Oliver and
Estelle have known each other for years makes for a great foundation in a love story.
I like the fact that the author got the “brother’s best friend” thing down pat. I’ve read a lot of books where the author tries to incorporate that factor, but never gets it right. This is not one of such books.
The way the author wove art into the story, and the ending, wow! It
was lovely. There’s a second book in this series, and I’m quite eager
to read it.
