Justice Lonesome has enjoyed a life of bounty. Even so, she’s inherited the curse of the Lonesome. A poet’s soul. Which means she’s still searching for something. Searching for peace. Searching for the less…that’s more.

And when the foundation of her life is pulled out from under her, grieving, she goes to the mountains to find her oasis. She hits Carnal, Colorado and decides to stay.

Deke Hightower lost everything at the age of two. He lost it again at fifteen. His life has not been about bounty. It’s been about learning to live with less, because there’s no way to get more.

Deke’s also watched all his friends go down to the women who gave them what they needed. He wants that for himself. But he knows that search isn’t going to be easy because he’s a rider. His home is the road. That’s the only place he can breathe. And the woman who takes her place at his side has to do it sitting on the back of his bike.

When Deke meets Justice, he knows she’s not that woman. She’s cute. She’s sweet. And she’s into him, but she’s got it all and Deke knows he won’t fit into that. So he holds her at arm’s length. Establishes boundaries. And Justice will take it because she wants Deke any way he’ll let her have him.

But when Justice finds herself a pawn in a dangerous game, Deke makes a decision. When he does, he has no idea he’s just opened himself up to bounty.

What do you get when a rock star and a mountain man collide?  You get another fantastic story from the epic Kristen Ashley!!

Justice Lonesome is the daughter of rock royalty… She is also a famous rocker who has definitely made a name for herself besides having the Lonesome last name.  She is a restless soul who has spent a lifetime living life and experiencing life but truly… has never really lived.

After the sudden passing of her father, she needs space, and time.  And the Lord shines down kindle on her as she moves to the mountains to none other than the place we all want to live with all of the amazing mountain men in Colorado.  Where beauty, both of the scenery and the people know no bounds.

Review:

A chance meeting with a handsome stranger years before that left her yearning and unable to forget that connection seems to be placed like a roaring freight train in her path again.  There is one little problem… he has no clue… and she can’t forget.  He fights the connection as she is a woman of considerable means and he is not nor will he ever be.  This is not the type of woman for him… or so he thinks.

Now the amazing Kristen Ashley would never let us down, so she makes sure to throw in lots of sass, drama, twists, danger and holy hell hotness in the mix.  You are absolutely taken with meeting up with so many of your past fave characters from her other books that you just can’t help but squeal with sheer happiness!!  They are all front and center to help Justice, to help Deke and to keep their home and women safe.

I say it every time, but it’s the truth… Reading one of Kristen Ashley’s books is like coming home…

And I again can not wait until her next one!!

A Man of CharacterA Man of Character

What would you do if you discovered the men you were dating were fictional characters you’d created long ago?

Thirty-five-year-old Catherine Schreiber has shelved love for good. Keeping her ailing bookstore afloat takes all her time, and she’s perfectly fine with that. So when several men ask her out in short order, she’s not sure what to do…especially since something about them seems eerily familiar.

A startling revelation – that these men are fictional characters she’d created and forgotten years ago – forces Cat to reevaluate her world and the people in it. Because these characters are alive. Here. Now. And most definitely in the flesh.

Her best friend, Eliza, a romance novel junkie craving her own Happily Ever After, is thrilled by the possibilities. The power to create Mr. Perfect – who could pass that up? But can a relationship be real if it’s fiction? Caught between fantasy and reality, Cat must decide which – or whom – she wants more.

Blending humor with unusual twists, including a magical manuscript, a computer scientist in shining armor, and even a Regency ball, A Man of Character is a whimsical-yet-thought-provoking romantic comedy that tells a story not only of love, but also of the lengths we’ll go for friendship, self-discovery, and second chances.
