If a deal for Higuain is agreed it could open up the door for Morata to leave Stamford Bridge in the January transfer market.

Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly close to sealing a move for Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain this month. The forward's agent is in London to finalize a move.

Gonzalo Higuain has accepted an offer from Chelsea, where he will rejoin former boss Maurizio Sarri after previously working with the Italian at Napoli.

Higuain excelled under Sarri during his time at Napoli, scoring 38 goals in his final season before making a big money move to rivals Juve.

LG Display unveils an 88-inch 8K OLED screen with built-in sound
During its CES 2019 press conference, LG announced an OLED TV that rolls up and hides inside a cabinet until it is needed. With Apple HomeKit support, customers will be able to control their LG TV using the Home app or by asking Siri.

Higuain scored 38 goals across all competitions during his one season under Sarri at Napoli and is a ideal fit for the manager's attacking style of football.

He has netted eight times in 20 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign, with the club's sporting director Leonardo warning the striker to step his game while he is still playing at the San Siro.

The report details that the Argentina worldwide could make the switch to the Premier League in January, as Milan are prepared to cut his loan spell with them.

Juventus & AC Milan would have to agree on the deal before Higuain can get his wish of moving to Stamford Bridge but the transfer would be a significant coup for the Blues, who have lacked a ruthless streak in recent weeks.

"A goal can change things, but if he is to continue here, he needs to take on responsibility", Leonardo said, according to the Mirror.

"He had a tough moment, he has to put it behind him and get to work".

Higuain is expected to cost up to £45m should Chelsea enter talks with both Juventus and AC Milan, the latter of whom have the option to buy him at the end of his loan spell this summer.
