Christensen was the quarterbacks coach in Indianapolis when Arians was the offensive coordinator.

The Buccaneers fired Dirk Koetter, who had coached the team the past three seasons, hours after their season-ending loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Arians was hired as Tampa Bay's new coach on Tuesday, and he quickly started to put together his staff.
