While any possible interaction between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump has seemingly slipped past the video cameras, the tense moment the USA president walked past his Russian counterpart was caught in photos.

Putin grinned broadly and welcomed Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman like a long-lost friend with an enthusiastic handshake after the group photo, where Trump looked on somberly and Xi stood impassively.

If that was created to soothe Trump, Xi more generally urged his fellow G20 leaders "to stick to openness" and to "steer (the) world economy responsibly", Xinhua reported.

He pointed out a diminished trade deficit between the US and Japan.

Donald Trump says Scott Morrison is doing a "fantastic job" in his short time as prime minister because he's getting things done that people want done.

In addition to U.S.

The officials said the USA was also blocking any mention of migration in the final statement.

The test series begins in Adelaide on December 6, with further matches in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney over the following month. On the other side, Australia XI captain Sam Whiteman was dressed perfectly.

The official was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

But Mr. Macri's foreign minister, Jorge Faurie, questioned that characterization, telling journalists he did not believe "there has been a reference in those terms".

"All issues being discussed at the summit have the same relevance", he told reporters. If we could make a deal that would be good.

Faurie said that the final communique does not require the signature of presidents.

Inside the talks, uncertainty prevailed about how Trump, known for his unpredictability, would behave at what was shaping up as one of the group's most consequential summits. Their declaration was meant to encourage other G-20 members to do the same, and to provide a boost for an upcoming United Nations climate summit.

The US-China trade war tops their agenda, but the two leaders also have other topics they hope to tackle, including Taiwan, the South China Sea and Americans being detained in China.

The summit is meant to focus on issues such as labor, infrastructure, development, financial stability, climate sustainability and worldwide commerce.

The referee did not initially give a penalty but then rightly changed his mind, and Milner beat Gianluigi Buffon from 12 yards. Liverpool rallied after James Milner's penalty got them back in the contest, but an equaliser eluded them in the second half.

The speech marked the latest effort by Xi to paint China as a defender of the global trade system at a time when Washington is accusing the country of engaging in unfair trade practices, stealing trade secrets, and subsidising state-owned enterprises at the cost of other countries.

"As this is a hard moment for global cooperation, I would like to appeal to the leaders to use this summit.to seriously discuss real issues such as trade wars, the tragic situation in Syria and Yemen and the Russian aggression in Ukraine", Tusk told a news conference.

Tusk added that the European Union would likely extend sanctions on Russian Federation over its "totally unacceptable" seizure of Ukrainian ships and their crews near Crimea.

Trump cited Russia's seizure of Ukrainian ships last week as the reason he canceled a planned bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

British Prime Minister Theresa May told the prince that the killers of Khashoggi should be held to account, her office said after the two leaders met. Saudi Arabia said the prince had no prior knowledge of the murder. One French source said Macron was trying to build an anti-Trump front with a separate statement embraced by "progressive countries".

On Taiwan, Xi wants to make Trump understand how seriously China feels about the self-governing island and that closer engagement between Taipei and Washington threatens to destabilize the region - and possibly even spark a conflict.

A pull-aside chat is scheduled with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, whose government has pushed for greater punishment of Saudi Arabia for Khashoggi's killing, which occurred at a consulate in Istanbul.
