The dream is still alive for people playing the Mega Millions lottery. The results of the drawings will be available on, as well as on the Lottery's Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages, officials said.

Tuesday's drawing marked the 24th consecutive one where nobody matched all six numbers drawn. The numbers were 3, 45, 49, 61, 69 and Mega Ball 9.

In 2016, a $1.6 billion Powerball prize was split three ways by ticket holders from California, Florida and Tennessee.

Judge tosses Stormy Daniels' defamation suit against Trump
The amount Ms Daniels will have to pay Mr Trump has not yet been decided, Charles Harder, the president's lawyer, said. The defamation claim is separate from another lawsuit that Daniels filed against Trump, which is continuing.

Nine tickets matched the five white balls to win the game's second prize.

Mind you, while this week's drawing could result in the highest Mega Millions jackpot victor ever, it wouldn't be the biggest USA lottery prize in history.

The immediate cash value of the prize, which winners can opt to take, is $380 million.

Mega Millions Jackpot Now Worth $654 Million
If you want all the Mega Millions money up front, the payout on $ 654 million is a paltry $372 million. The estimated $ 654 million jackpot refers to the annuity option, paid out over 29 years.

Those who opt for the annuity will get an immediate payment and then 29 annual payments, each 5 percent larger than the last.

The largest lottery jackpot ever won on a single ticket in the United States was a $758.7 million prize won on a Powerball ticket purchased in Chicopee for a drawing on August 23, 2017, officials said.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states as well as Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, Alabama and MS do not participate. That jackpot has reached an estimated $345 million.
