CW's Batwoman Reveals First Look At Ruby Rose In Costume

Staying true to the comics, Ruby is rocking fiery red hair and Batwoman's signature suit in the first look of Ruby in the costume. This gorgeous version of the costume was designed by none other than frequent Tim Burton collaborator and four-time Oscar-winner Colleen Atwood!

Rose will portray Batwoman first in this year's Arrowverse crossover before going on to headline her own Batwoman pilot.

You can see the first look image below. The new show will compliment the other DC Comics superhero series on the network - a lineup which now includes Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Black Lightning. Yes, that means The Flash and Supergirl are switching nights.

This year's Arrowverse crossover is already causing a ton of excitement amongst DC fans.

We know from Arrow and Supergirl that a Gotham City exists on those two characters' Earths, so will this be the Gotham of Earth-One, Earth-Thirty-Eight, or another Earth we haven't visited before?

The CW has also announced that Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) will appear in all three episodes, alongside Lois Lane. It will also be nice to spread the heroes out more evenly across the multiverse. Although we have yet to see her act in the role, she definitely looks the part. While Rose is a lesbian as is Batwoman, a number of people took issue with the fact that Rose is not Jewish.
