Beto O’Rourke adopts Trump insult, branding GOP opponent ‘Lyin’ Ted’

While the senator might wish everyone had forgotten all about that, his opponent Beto O'Rourke revived the nickname during Tuesday night's debate in San Antonio.

"Well it's clear Congressman O'Rourke's pollsters have told him to come out on the attack, so if he wants to insult me and call me a liar, that's fine", Cruz snapped. O'Rourke responded: "Senator Cruz is not going to be honest with you" adding "it's why the president called him Lyin' Ted and its why the nickname stuck".

Cruz on O'Rourke: "Have you noticed in this debate he doesn't talk about what he has accomplished in Congress?"
