Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has been named UEFA best men's player, finishing ahead of former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo and Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

Modric ran home with the award after a highly successful year which saw him win the UEFA Champions League once again with Madrid after defeating Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side 3-1 in the final.

Despite winning the best forward title for his 15 goals in 10 games en route to their third consecutive Champions League final - the Portugal captain was said to be livid about the Modric situation.

Modric was also instrumental during Croatia's World Cup campaign in Russian Federation, where he led the country to its first final appearance in the tournament.

Coca-Cola buys coffee chain Costa for $5.1 billion
Nicholas Hyett, equity analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown, described the deal as "a bitter-sweet moment for Whitbread investors". But it seems Coca-Cola swung in with an offer that was much more lucrative for Whitbread: the deal is worth £3.9 billion.

Luka's national team career isn't too shabby either, as he was selected the best Croatian player seven times, was named on the best team of the World Cup in Russian Federation, and received the Golden Ball at the 2018 World Cup.

Premier League champions, City have been rewarded for their efforts last season.

Tottenham have been drawn in a tough group to face Barcelona, while last season's runners-up Liverpool face Paris St-Germain and Napoli.

Mourinho believes all three opponents in Group H have the capabilities to cause United problems. "I am at the best club in the world, where I want to be".

Harry and Meghan are ready to start a family
It was also reported that Meghan is apparently trying to encourage Harry to eat less meat. Meanwhile, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have Jack Russell terriers.

The new system could cut down on the number of one-sided contests which have spoiled the group stage in recent seasons. This is for performances in the Champions League and not the World Cup, so we maintain Ronaldo deserved it more.

The draw was also kind on German champions Bayern Munich, although they will meet two great European names in Benfica and Ajax. Barcelona has won three while Real Madrid triumphed in four seasons in the last decade.

"I think we should consider Manchester City the favourites for our group", said Fonseca.

Instead, Griezmann sees himself in the pack behind the duo and he even went as far as naming those players that he compares himself to.

Elon Musk, Tesla and the Saudi connection
The Securities and Exchange Commission initiated an investigation to learn whether Musk had misled investors about the financing. Musk also said the company "absolutely must stay focused on ramping Model 3 and becoming profitable".
