LeBron James To Executive Produce Showtime Docu-Series "Shut Up & Dribble"

James found himself drawn into politics last week when President Donald Trump unleashed a withering attack on him in a tweet after an interview aired with CNN anchor Don Lemon in which he deemed Trump divisive.

"I mean, look, for someone who is supposed to be the dumbest person on television, what are you doing watching him, Mr. President?" Trump, watching a replay of the OH native's interview with CNN, derided the intelligence of one of America's most prominent African-American men in a tweet. "Most of America, anyway, not all of America".

Her response to Trump's broadsides on James was illustrative to the path she has more frequently taken. He added that "This president constantly denigrates people of color and women".

President Changes Story About Trump Tower Meeting
Trump Jr.'s first statement after the initial report asserted the meeting was only about adoption. Trump earlier in the day tweeted that the Trump Tower meeting between his son, Donald Trump Jr.

"He is trying to divide by race and conquer decency by smearing and the truth and the people who fight to uphold it".

Don Lemon responded to a "nasty, hateful" tweet by President Trump by calling it "one of the oldest canards of racism" in our nation. March also saw a pointed reference to Ingraham at the Academy Awards, when Bryant won a best animated short film Oscar for "Dear Basketball" and sarcastically told the audience, "As basketball players, we're really supposed to just shut up and dribble".

During the the interview, James addressed President Donald Trump , who James believes is using sports to divide the country . Queried on what he'd say to Trump if they were face to face, he was quick to say, "I would never sit across from him".
