At this point, there is still no official release window for DOOM Eternal. Unfortunately, we didn't actually get to see the game in action - we only got a brief teaser, which was heavy on freaky demonic imagery, but light on details.

When is Doom Eternal's release date?

You can expect the gameplay trailer to be as fast and brutual as the original DOOM most likely, and to give us our first look at the game's setting to boot. We'll report on it as soon as it does. Mostly, though, what was shown looked consistent with the 2016 game, just amped up.

Although Hines claims the sale is "everywhere", Bethesda games like "Doom" and "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" are now still listed at full retail price on the Nintendo eShop.
