The June 2016 Trump Tower meeting was held between Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner, then-Campaign Manager Paul Manafort, Natalia Veselnitskaya (a Russian lawyer and self-described informant), and Russian operatives.

President Donald Trump's former campaign aide Sam Nunberg said he does "sympathize" with Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen, but said his decision to release a secretly recorded tape of a conversation with Trump as going "too far". The meeting has become a central focus of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into whether anyone within Trump's campaign colluded with Russian Federation to interfere in meddling in the last USA presidential election. "If they rely on him ... it would destroy whatever case they have".

The New York Times reported Thursday about the Mueller investigation's interest in the president's tweets.

On Wednesday, Cohen's legal team leaked one tape, a covert recording of Trump and Cohen discussing a payment to the National Enquirer to secure the rights to former Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal's claims of an affair with Trump.

Soybean farmers anxious, even with $12 billion in aid, and European Union promises
The money is aimed at shielding farmers from US President Donald Trump's disputes with China and other leading trading partners. The EU said it will also import more liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the USA in an attempt to "diversity its energy supply".

In a tweet he said, "I didn't know of the meeting with my - the meeting with my son Don Jr".

"We have an outstanding offer to them", Giuliani said. If nothing else, it suggests that the Trump team took the planned encounter with the Russian government emissary much more seriously than they've suggested to date. The Justice Department has been investigating Cohen for months, raiding his home, office and hotel room in search of documents related to a $130,000 payment the attorney facilitated before the 2016 election to Stormy Daniels, an adult-film actress who says she had sex with Trump in 2006. Of his own avowals of Cohen's honesty earlier this year, he said: "George Washington would have said that about Benedict Arnold at a certain point in time".

"There's a lot more to come", one source said. But Cohen has no paperwork, audio recordings or other hard evidence to back up his story, CNN also reported.

"What I think and what I know may be two different things", Mr. Giuliani said.

Juncker, who had been somewhat defiant ahead of the meeting, said afterwards: "I had the intention to make a deal today". The EU will be a "massive buyer" of LNG, Mr.

"I don't see how he has any credibility", Giuliani said.

House conservatives - including Ryan - still say the Justice Department isn't producing the documents they want about the early stages of the Russian Federation investigation, which means Rosenstein isn't out of the woods completely. Asked about the reversal on "Fox News Sunday", Giuliani said if he had known about Cohen's recordings, he would have called him a "scoundrel" instead of praising him.

Davis did not immediately return a message seeking comment about Trump's claims. "You better buckle up buttercup because Mr. Trump's stupidity and disloyalty is about to catch up to him (and you)". Nunberg appeared before a grand jury as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe.
