Demi Lovato 'could have died' from her overdose

Demi Lovato is now recovering from a drug overdose and is reportedly in stable condition as she gets treatment at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

She remains hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It came a month after she released a new song called "Sober, " indicating that she relapsed after six years of sobriety.

"I wanted to be as thin as her, " Lovato said in the film, released a year ago.

The singer was booked with performances, appearances, working on a new album and documenting her life for a follow up project to her YouTube documentary, Simply Complicated.
