"From Chelsea's perspective, they need him to commit to a long-term deal, otherwise at that stage it makes sense to sell him now while you can still get full value".

Hazard's wage demands would not be a problem and after six years at Stamford Bridge winning all titles as only the Champions League trophy eludes him.

Right back Sime Vrsaljko limped off during extra time but Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic has described the injury as a "niggle". That leaves him free to play against England . "His attacking ability has come to light during the World Cup ".

The Blues will be loath to let Hazard go, as he has arguably been their most vital attacking player over the last few seasons. He's developing his hold-up play and he can be strong in the air.
