A day after America's first lady Melania Trump stirred controversy by wearing a jacket that read "I really don't care, do u?" on a trip to visit a children's shelter on the US-Mexico border, people are still scratching their heads.

United States President Donald Trump came to the rescue of First Lady Melania Trump who is being criticised for wearing a jacket featuring an insensitive message on its back.

The first lady's visit comes as President Donald Trump's administration has separated members of families that cross USA borders illegally, sending thousands of children to holding camps around the country.

The wardrobe choice drew plenty of criticism on social media where many called it tone deaf, comparing it with Melania Trump's decision to wear stiletto heels during another one of her visits to Texas, that time to survey the damage wrought by Hurricane Harvey in 2017.

Reporters and political analysts debated this week over whether the jacket choice by the first lady, a former model, was innocuous or served as a hidden message to either her husband or the migrants themselves.

Wahbi Khazri found a second consolation for the Tunisians after steering home a cross-field pass a minute from time . That goal served to halt Belgium's early dominance, but they did grab a third with nearly the last kick of the half.

She posted: "Today's visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly".

Twitter users were quick to criticise the first lady's jacket faux pas and the not-so-hidden message.

The children are "usually distraught" when they arrive, she was told by officials, but "when they see the environment, they start relaxing". On the wall was a hand-painted American flag and the children signed it. After Trump's executive order, a host of unanswered questions remained, including what will happen to the children already separated from their parents and where the government will house all the newly detained migrants, with the system already bursting at the seams.

Melania Trump has come under fire over the weird outfit she chose to wear to visit immigrant children in detention on the US-Mexico border.

Earlier this week, Mrs Trump appeared to have diverged from US President Donald Trump's stance on family separation when she released a statement saying she "hates to see children separated from their families".

Last night, Priyanka arrived with Nick in the same vehicle as the paparazzi shot every moment. Earlier, Priyanka was seen smiling along with Nick as they left the former's apartment.

'Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!' he added.

The Department of Health and Human Services has yet to release any details on how they will reunite the 2,300 children separated from their families.

Somehow Melania's meme'd outerwear is more believable than what she actually wore.

No sooner had the jacket become the center of focus than headlines started pouring in, slamming the first lady.
