President Trump wasn't happy when Tom Brady said he would not visit the White House with the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots a year ago, citing family obligations. One player knelt in the pre-season, but he ended up getting cut before the season started.

The White House pool report also noted that at the end of the anthem, a heckler - a different man - yelled, "Stop hiding behind the armed services and the national anthem!".

Those players were kneeling in prayer.not a single Philadelphia player took a knee during the regular season previous year, but this is a huge story.the Fox network is against prayer in public. The team reportedly wanted to send a small group of players, as multiple players previously stated they would not attend the ceremony. Trump insinuates that protesters are anti-military and against the NFL new policy, which states that players must stand during the National Anthem unless they're in the locker room.

China's ZTE apologizes after paying 'disastrous price' in U.S. sanction case
Today, commerce secretary Wilbur Ross told CNBC that the United States struck a deal with ZTE to return it to business. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross announced that ZTE will pay a $1 billion fine for its recent violations.

The day before the event, Mr. Trump disinvited the Eagles from their planned visit after it became clear that most members of the team were not going to attend.

The President customarily invites the champions of major professional and college sports to the White House for a visit.

None of the Eagles players knelt during the playing of the anthem during the football season, but Trump brought up the anthem protests when he canceled the team's invitation on Monday after many players said they would not attend the celebration.

"I will be there at 3:00 pm (1900 GMT) with the United States Marine Band and the United States Army Chorus to celebrate America".

Trump's statement cited only the anthem issue - whether they would take a knee in protest during the song, for which the president has berated players.

White House Press Secretary accused the team of a "political stunt" just minutes before Tuesday's alternative event began, claiming the players had chosen to "abandon their fans". It's a cowardly act to cancel the celebration because the majority of the people don't want to see you.

Trump weighs in on cancellation of 'Roseanne'
ABC said, " Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values and we have chose to cancel her show".

Fact No. 2: The Eagles were invited to the White House to be honored, not to honor their fans, and those players who chose not to attend did absolutely nothing to dishonor their fans or disrespect them.
