Per a report from Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News, it was a "good" meeting.

Leonard no longer desires to play for the Spurs.

Leonard did not want the meeting and has been making himself hard to reach for the Spurs on objective, according to ESPN's report. In particular, ESPN reported that Leonard is "irate" over public comments from Popovich and teammate Tony Parker as his absence wore on.

Royal Ascot 2018: Meghan and Harry join the Queen in carriage procession
The event, which concludes on June 23, will also feature Meghan and Prince Harry presenting the winning trophy for the St. Thousands of racegoers cheered and applauded from the stands as the Queen's carriage led the procession down the course.

Even despite Leonard's reported feelings, it appears Popovich is still trying to fix the relationship, which fractured at some point during last season. Part of the reason why better offers have seemingly not been made is likely because many around the National Basketball Association believe that Leonard has already chose to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers next summer when his contract ends.

Lowe isn't the only ESPN reporter claiming as much. Leonard will reportedly alert teams interested in trading for him that his preference is to sign with the Lakers when he's eligible to become a free agent in 2019.

The Spurs are unlikely to be motivated to facilitate a deal to the Lakers, league sources said. However, the Spurs are telling teams they are trying all they can to fix things with their star forward though they are doing their due diligence on the trade front.

Various reports over the last few months indicated the sides disagreed about the nature of Leonard's injury, how to treat it and how soon he would be able to return to the floor.

Leonard is reportedly angry with the Spurs for mishandling the injury.

Kawhi's stance on informing trade suitors might be to get them all to not even try to trade for him if they know he's just going to be a 1-year rental before he bolts in free agency.
