U.S. sanctions Iran groups for 'rights abuses'

"We will have a number of meetings today and we will work on expanding the very good relations that we have with India", Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told ANI in Delhi.

India will also try to negotiate its way out of the sanctions on Iran that is likely to affect developing the Chabahar port -- crucial for India's trade with Afghanistan and central Asia.

Trump is also considering new sanctions on Russian Federation, a historic ally and key supplier of arms to India, related to allegations that Vladimir Putin's government interfered in the US election.

U.S. Officials Meet With North Koreans to Discuss Summit
The State Department says a team of US officials also met with North Korean officials in Panmunjom on Sunday. Kim and President Moon Jae-in of South Korea also produced some progress toward a meeting.
