Person arrested after shots fired at Trump golf club

- A man has been arrested after shots were fired inside a South Florida hotel lobby at the Trump National Doral Golf Club near Miami, which is owned by President Donald Trump. Officials said he was taken to the hospital with a broken bone.

Police said Oddi took a flag from a flagpole at the rear of the golf club complex, walked into the lobby and began ranting about Trump and firing a gun. Five officers ultimately returned fire, the director said.

He says officers from Doral and Miami-Dade were met "with an individual with a handgun".

One officer is in good condition after suffering injuries not related to firearms.

The U.S. Secret Service says it has agents on the scene and is working with other law enforcement after a shooting at the Trump National Doral resort in south Florida. According to CBS News, they confirmed that no "protectees were in the Miami region at the time of the incident".
