NC Voters Go To Polls In Primaries Today

It makes sense that voters might go to the polls on their lunch break, but after dividing the expected low turnout with the one hundred and sixteen voting precincts in Allen County, none of the polling places were experiencing a lunch rush.

North Carolina voters have the opportunity to vote in their party primaries today, with polls open until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Most voters don't need to show ID in North Carolina, but if you are a first-time voter in your county or use same-day registration, you may need to show some form of ID. "We've touched based with more than 150,000 voters at this point, registered thousands and we've made real changes in political landscape here", Dan Canon, Indiana 9th District Democratic primary candidate, said.

Absentee ballots are now available in Black Hawk County for the June 5 primary election.
