Houston Rockets v Golden State Warriors

Coach Steve Kerr lamented that Golden State's first half on Monday night was "one of the most weird first halves" his team has played since he's been with the Warriors and joked that he thought of resigning at halftime before getting serious.

The Warriors overcame a 15-point first-half deficit to record a 101-92 win over the home side.

As much of this was happening during the third period, a span in which Houston went 0-of-14 from deep, the Warriors were doing what they do best: Staging a massive comeback after halftime. It was the first game of the series where the team that lost the turnover battle won the game (27 missed threes will do that to you), as the Warriors were pushed out of their game by a tenacious Rockets D.

All games will air live in a repeat of last year's historic bilingual simulcast starting Game 1, which will be hosted by the Warriors at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.

Boston Celtics looking to send LeBron James packing again
James had eight points and Hill added six to keep the Cavs in it early, but the rest of the team was just 2-for-11 from the field. Brown lit it up with 15 first-quarter points, converting a pull-up jumper with 8.3 seconds remaining that put them ahead 25-20.

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas sent out a picture of himself sitting courtside at the Toyota Center for Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals between the Rockets and Warriors, leading everyone on Twitter to make the same joke. The Warriors, rather than the Rockets, could have been the team that shot seven for 44 from three-point range.

"We've got our bumps throughout the season", he continued. "But when Steph and Klay [Thompson] get it going from 3, that's when our team really seems to take off".

The Stanley Cup Finals hit the ice for Game 1 between newbies the Vegas Golden Knights and the Washington Capitals in Sin City on NBC, but the real sports showdown last night was on TNT in Game 7 of the National Basketball Association playoffs' Western Conference Finals. Gil and the guys look for a weakness in Golden State's attack.

James Harden had 32 points as the top-seeded Rockets' bid to return to the final for the first time since 1995 fell short without Chris Paul, who was nursing a hamstring injury. Boston was 7-for-39 from three-point range, with Rozier missing all 10 of his attempts.

Jurgen Klopp says Real Madrid will be more prepared than Liverpool
While Zidane was a Champions League and World Cup victor as a player, Klopp's own playing career in his native Germany was modest. I saw his team playing a lot of times and it is just fantastic football .

Yet Golden State flicked the switch after the break, and Curry and Durant soon began raining down buckets from distance.

James played all 82 regular-season games for the first time in his career and is already at 100 for the year with at least four more to come. They claimed their second championship in three years in five games.

While it's a common storyline that's been established by both Twitter and national media alike (seriously, how many times did Jeff Van Gundy bring it up yesterday?), frequent NBA Finals LeBron adversary Stephen Curry is no fan of it. "They've got it and we've got it". "You have to have endurance, you've got to have resiliency, you've got to have confidence in yourself, no matter how the game's going up until that point, that you can turn it around". He went to call it "a chapter we need to figure out and finish this story". The Warriors trailed by 10 at halftime in Game 6 and 11 at intermission on Monday in Game 7. Had they won Sunday, they would have been the second-youngest Finals team since the advent of the shot clock.

If there is anything to look forward to, it is the fact that there will be some very significant names on the free agent market this offseason and the Rockets would appear to be a prime destination. "And you have to have those momentum changers and stoppers, and the last two games, we didn't have them".

Judge rules in favor of parents suing to evict slacker son
Justice Donald Greenwood told the son his bid to remain in his parents' home another six months was "outrageous". He ignored all of them, so the couple went through Camillus Town Court in April to begin the eviction process.
