Google Maps to add new features including "For You" and "Your Match"

A less helpful feature is a virtual assistant that Google's Maps team is experimenting with.

Another Google Maps feature called "Your Match" will suggest restaurants and other venues that are specifically catered to the end-user through the power of machine learning. It will also show you nearby business and place names for visual reference. The For You tab is created to surface information about new places that open up, or a "surprise pop-up from your favourite chef" and more using information from local experts, Google's algorithms, and trusted publishers.

Finally, Google is also launching new tools to help you get around in Navigation. Street View can label things in the real world using your camera, and show you an overlay to let you know which way to go.
