Lloyd reports that Cavs general manager Koby Altman intends to meet with the 25-year-old to discuss why he refused to go into the game.

Before the February trade deadline, the Cleveland Cavaliers traded for Rodney Hood with the hope that he could strengthen their chance of reclaiming the National Basketball Association championship title this season.

Romania President Calls Steps to Move Embassy to Jerusalem 'Mistake'
While Israel views Jerusalem as its capital, Palestinians view East Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state. On Monday, Paraguay said it was planning to move its embassy from near Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on May 21 or 22.

"This is not him as a person at all, he's a team player and wants what's best for the team", said a source, familiar with the discussion.

It's an odd scene to watch play out at this point in the postseason, but it's also easy to see why Hood has been frustrated with his role on the Cavaliers of late. However, Hood refused to enter the game which reportedly angered some of his teammates.

Down Under the limit for Giro away days - Dennis
With a rest day tomorrow, the race now moves to Italy in stage four on Tuesday, consisting of a 198km route from Catania to Caltagirone.

But with an apology to the team forthcoming and the Cavaliers seemingly uninterested in punishing Hood with a suspension or fine, it's possible that the team could put this all behind them in short order. Hood ended up averaging 6.3 points on 46.2 percent shooting (16.7 percent from 3), 1.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 18.9 minutes per game against Indiana.

The Cavs will return to the court soon to face either the Sixers or, most likely, the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Had Hood played in the final minutes, he could have changed Cavaliers head coach Ty Lue's perception about him. But the 25-year-old, considered a threat from beyond the arc, struggled mightily against IN, making just two of his 12 attempted 3-pointers. But the pending restricted free agent refused, despite the efforts of his teammates to "talk sense" into him. "We're trying to win a championship", an unnamed Cavaliers player told The Athletic about Hood's behavior. In 10 appearances, the 6-foot-8 swingman has averaged just 4.6 points per game - more than 6 points fewer than the 10.8 he averaged after being acquired by Cleveland from the Utah Jazz at the National Basketball Association trade deadline.
