KKR beat RCB by four wickets in IPL

RCB were blown away by Kolkata's bowlers a year ago after being bowled for a lowly 49 runs. Led by wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik, KKR has some of the brightest young talents in Indian cricket.

Sunil Narine scored yet another quickfire fifty to put Kolkata Knight Riders on a winning path but it was Nitish Rana, who played a key role with ball as well as bat to outplay Royal Challengers Bangalore by four wickets at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.

Dinesh Karthik is leading the Kolkata side this time while Virat Kohli is once again the captain of Bangalore team. Kolkata has won the toss and now, they will bowl first to Bangalore. Narine, earlier, had the record of scoring the fastest 50 in IPL off 15 balls which KL Rahul broke against DD earlier on Sunday. Our four overseas are ABD, McCullum, de Kock and Woakes. And yet, he was one of three players retained, alongside AB de Villiers and Kohli himself. Looks a good wicket, so we will look to chase.

Lynn may also be skinny at [3.3] but he's the key wicket and could deliver the profit whether he ruins the match tip or not.

Earlier Rana struck twice in a sensational one-over spell before Mandeep Singh smashed a whirlwind 18-ball 37 to take Royal Challengers Bangalore to a challenging 176-7.

Kohli (31 off 33) played the second fiddle. Bringing on a part-time spinner with de Villiers and Kohli at the crease was risky indeed, but their prediction for a 30-run over turned into a masterstroke when he had both batsmen dismissed off the next two balls. Virat Kohli's army set a target of 177 for its opponent, it is the highest target of the IPL's 11 seasons.

Tiger Woods's Eventful Opening Round at the Masters
His day didn't finish as he would have hoped - he played a nine-hole stretch at 8-over-par - but he still did his hometown proud. The increase from 2006 to 2016 is just a little more than the entire amount they competed for when Tiger turned professional.

I've chose to ignore AB de Villiers for this match. Captain Virat Kohli and fast bowler Umesh Yadav headline the local talent.

Mitchell Starc has been ruled out of the tournament with a tibial bone stress fracture in his right leg, and the Knight Riders coach Jacques Kallis has pinned his faith on Tom Curran, the bowling allrounder from England, to fill in ably.

But skipper Karthik (35 off 29 balls not out) maintained his composure and starred in a 55-run partnership with Nitish Rana to eventually seal the chase with seven balls to spare. After scalping two big wickets, Rana was taken off the attack.
