Other fighters on the bus, including Michael Chiesa and Roy Borg, have since been removed from the UFC event on Saturday after sustaining injures during the attack, whilst Nurmagomedov walked away unscathed. The UFC lightweight champion, accompanied by his lawyer, turned himself in to police at the 78th Precinct station house in Brooklyn at approximately 10:23 P.M. EST on the same day.

Fellow Dublin native MMA fighter Cian Cowley, meanwhile, has been charged with one count of assault and one of criminal mischief. "He justified it. It was justified to him".

Conor McGregor has been charged by the New York Police Department over an unprecedented attack at a UFC press conference on Thursday.

White told ESPN that he had a text session with McGregor on Thursday after the incident.

McGregor, who has been stripped of his UFC lightweight title after 18 months years of inactivity, was shown in video footage recorded at the Barclay's Centre in NY throwing various objects at the bus, including a metal hand truck or dolly which shattered a passenger side window.

Israeli websites hacked to display 'Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine'
In the town of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, teenagers collected old tires from fix shops, loading them onto three-wheelers. The announcement comes ahead of expected new mass protests along the Gaza Strip's border with Israel on Friday.

According to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani, things took a turn after video surfaced of a dust-up between Lobov and a group led by the event's headliner, Khabib Nurmagomedov. "Individuals involved in the incident are not welcome at tomorrow's ceremonial weigh-in or Saturday's event at Barclays Center".

While the altercation wasn't physical, Nurmagomedov is pictured having his hands on Lobov's face.

Lobov is a Straight Blast Gym teammate and close friend of McGregor's. It is believed McGregor's antics Thursday were in response to that, and not news of him being stripped of his lightweight title after Nurmagomedov and Holloway for that title on Saturday.

"I don't think anyone is going to be a huge Conor McGregor fan after this. That's what should have been done".

Some are describing the actions of McGregor as "loyal" after it's alleged Khabib cornered his friend asking "where's Conor?" - leading to McGregor flying from Ireland to the U.S. on his private jet.
