Outgoing Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes believes Niko Kovac is the right man to continue leading the German giants after he was confirmed as the man to take over next season.

Kovac will sign a three-year-contract while Ribery and Robben stay for one more season.

Niko Kovac is returning to Bayern Munich as coach next season after impressing at Eintracht Frankfurt. "Niko was a player at Bayern, he knows the characters and the structures and the DNA of the club very well".

The Bayern coach said it is not only a challenge for Bayern but Real as well.

CWG 2018: Pugilist Mary Kom clinches gold
Thirty-five-year-old Mary Kom outclassed Northern Ireland's 22-year-old Kristina O'Hara in the final in women's 45-48 kg category. Hinch and her team-mates, who had lost 2-1 to India in the group stage, had won silver at the previous Games in Glasgow in 2014.

The 46-year-old is now at the helm of Eintracht Frankfurt - who sit fifth in the table, 26 points adrift of Kovac's new employers - who already have the league title in the bag.

So it's perhaps no surprise Frankfurt are unhappy, with their sporting director Fredi Bobic speaking out on Bayern's shady approach.

Frankfurt also has a German Cup semifinal match against Schalke next week. With 40 goals so far, they've already exceeded last season's tally of 36, the task of finding the net being shared equally throughout a team which doesn't feature a standout superstar.

The European Cup's most-played fixture and a veritable continental Klassiker, Bayern Munich v Real Madrid needs no introduction. "I think Bayern Munich made a good choice". The club captain sat out the second leg against Juventus due to a suspension and would normally be expected to resume his duties against Bayern.

Milos Forman, Oscar-winning exiled director
Forman's first USA film " Taking Off " (1971) was also filmed with non-actors but failed to impress a non-European audience. Just two years later, Forman made " The Firemen's Ball ", a satirical look at the country's communist regime.

Those regulations were reiterated in April 2014 following controversy over the availability of Thibaut Courtois - then on loan at Atletico Madrid - to play against his parent club Chelsea in the Champions League. The German has gone on to lead Bayern to a sixth successive Bundesliga title, while he has the chance to win the treble (again) with upcoming semi-finals against Bayer Leverkusen (German Cup) and Real Madrid (Champions League).

But if they finish fifth, they would still finish in a Europa League spot.

But Kovac places huge value on the personal relationship with his players, a quality he attributes to his former coaches Ottmar Hitzfeld, Giovanni Trapattoni and Christoph Daum ("Three coaches who also possessed great human qualities in addition to their professional expertise") but also to his strong Christian faith. With Real looking vulnerable despite Ronaldo's extraordinary performances, Bayern has a chance to provide their coach with the flawless send-off - and even provide a little bit more romance.

Thomas Tuchel was reportedly in the running for the vacancy only for Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to confirm the former Borussia Dortmund coach - strongly linked with Paris Saint-Germain - has agreed to move elsewhere.

Russian Federation summons Israeli envoy after Syrian airbase attack
Human rights groups and United Nations officials say the tactic amounts to forced displacement, a war crime. The European Union also said evidence pointed to the use of chemical weapons by Assad's forces.
