It reported that thanks to yet-another bug in Apple's smartphone operating, users can simply ask Siri to "read my notifications" and the assistant will read aloud the contents of notifications, including ones that are hidden.

As a result of the bug, Siri reads out notification content, even those that are hidden, from a wide selection of apps without verifying whether the command was coming from the owner of the device.

Apple says it will fix a bug that caused Siri to read out hidden lock screen notifications to anyone who asks.

Trump Pushes Europe on Iran Deal, But May Kill Deal Either Way
Some analysts reject this stance, arguing the expression of this expectation did not imply a commitment on Iran's part. First, Trump wants to penalize Iran for ballistic missiles, which were not part of the original deal.

Apple has acknowledged the problem and promised a fix soon. The latest update, iOS 11.2.6 has some bad UI issues and fails to address the battery drain issue.

Interestingly, the bug does not work for Apple's native messaging app, meaning your iMessages are safe. We tried again and again to get Siri to read texts, but it demanded we unlock our iPhones first.

In a statement given to MacRumours, Apple said: "We are aware of the issue and it will be addressed in an upcoming software update".

March for our Lives to call for end to gun violence
As of Wednesday, they managed to raise just over $23,000 toward their $30,000 goal to pay for supplies, food and other items. At the center of this march in Grand Rapids is Emily Masternak, a sophomore at Forest Hills Northern High School.

One of the more clever security features of the iPhone X is that messages and other notifications on the lock screen can only be viewed in their entirety when a person's face is authorized via Face ID.

Thankfully there are some basic settings that can prevent Siri from reading out your personal messages without authentication, but it takes a toll at some of your convenience. To do so, go to Settings Siri & Search Disable Allow Siri When Locked. The iOS 11 has been riddled with so many bugs and half-baked functionality that some of the users preferred to stick to the previous version.
