Rain, show showers possible beginning Sunday evening in Billings

Towards the end of the week our temperatures will be in the mid 60's for daytime highs with partly cloudy skies.

After Tuesday, the overall picture looks fairly dry with highs in the lower 50s for the rest of the work week.

A slight chance of rain and snow will develop Sunday evening in the Billings area, while significant wet, heavy snow is forecast to fall farther east. As the northern Rockies remain under steady northwest flow, off and on scattered rain and snow showers will be possible everyday, with highs remaining in the 40's through Wednesday.

The cooldown into the 50s only lasts one day because by Tuesday we're back in the upper 60s for highs. Some thunderstorms are possible as well.
