Jurors are tasked with deciding whether Salman, 31, is guilty of obstruction of justice and of aiding and abetting Mateen's providing of material support to a foreign terror organization, the Islamic State group. Her attorneys say her confession was coerced and is false.

Salman's attorneys filed a motion to dismiss the case as a mistrial, claiming that the late revelation of this information violated their client's due process rights as they would have taken a different strategy with the defense had they known about Seddique Mateen's status with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Mateen raped and choked Salman, she said, and she feared he was capable of killing her.

It continued, "In light of the Government's Saturday disclosure, twelve days into trial, we can now infer-although the Government has, to this day, not disclosed that the [confidential informant] referenced in this report is Seddique Mateen-that Mateen's father played a significant role in the FBI's decision not to seek an indictment from the Justice Department for false statements to the Federal Bureau of Investigation or obstruction of justice against Omar Mateen".

They will present their closing arguments later Wednesday.

Noor Salman, the widow of gunman Omar Mateen, initially told investigators after the rampage at Pulse nightclub that her husband had acted without her knowledge.

The FBI also said it had received a tip that Seddique Mateen was engaged in fund-raising that may have been meant to contribute to "an attack against the government of Pakistan". "But this trial has been so personal, putting things out there you and I would never want the world to know".

Up next in her trial are closing arguments.

Pulse gunman Omar Mateen originally wanted to shoot up the heavily populated Disney Springs complex in Orlando with a rifle hidden in a stroller. He didn't respond. She later went on Facebook, read a book and then texted Mateen again.

The Pulse nightclub shooter meant to attack Disney World's shopping and entertainment complex, WKGM reports.

Sweeney showed a video of the Disney Springs complex that captured Mateen walking near the House of Blues club in the hours before the Pulse attack. And she said she was with Mateen as he drove around the Pulse site a week before the attack, even though cell phone records indicate that trip never happened.

The email also stated that Seddique Mateen is being investigated for money transfers to Turkey and Afghanistan after documents were found in his home on June 12, 2016, the day of the Pulse attack. Attorneys Charles Swift and Scheller argued in a motion on Sunday that this revelation alone, made only after the prosecution rested its case, was grounds for mistrial.
